Until I Met You – Amber Rose Gill – Book Review

I reckon the process of writing and publishing your first novel is a daunting task but Amber Rose Gill (co-written by Nadine Gonzalez) definitely has a flare for writing, which surprised me in the best way!

“Will a tropical escape lead to a perfect romance?”

Samantha Roberts has just been dropped by her partner and is now attending her best friends’ wedding in Tobago alone. Surrounded by all the bridesmaids in couples this doesn’t phase Samantha. There is always a flip side to the coin, this being the groom’s best friend. He arrives just in time to raise Sam’s spirits and give her the attention and care she deserves. Will Sam downplay the tropical romance?

I found the book to be light and fluffy in all the right places making it easy to read at a nice steady pace. This book really focuses on the power of strong friendships and that with a little support from those closest to you, you can get through anything!

Honestly, I really enjoyed that the supporting characters stood out as they had their own sub-plots that made sense and did not deviate too much from the main plot. I am looking forward to reading Amber Rose Gill’s next novel and I am sure I will devour that one as I did this novel.
