Twenty years after their last holiday – Sophie spends the time to reflects on the rare time she had with her Father Calum (Paul Mescal). She reflects on the time that they spent together and why they have become so estranged. Leaving her with more questions than answers. Will she ever understand his point of view or are they destined to spend years mentally and physically apart!

This film is drama disguised as something much more it provides the audience with a perspective that I have never seen in a film before. It takes you right into both of their perspectives leaving you perplexed confused and even wanting more.

The director Charlotte Wells has created the ability to submerge you completely into the characters worlds leaving you wanting more long after the film has ended. It is an amazing film considering that it is her directorial debut.
